Yes & Yes Designs uses falling apart, out of date, and unwanted books to make each piece. By laser cutting the covers from these books, we are able to make bold and clever jewelry that tells a story, so to speak.

First, we glue a page from an encyclopedia onto the cover to create a fun, one-of-a-kind pattern on an otherwise boring old textbook or encyclopedia cover. Next, we laser cut the pieces, and then coat them with several layers of clear acrylic to help protect them. Finally, we glue on the pin hardware, using a top secret technique to ensure that the glue penetrates deep into the piece for added strength and adhesion.

Because of the unique nature of the material, each piece is one-of-a-kind, so expect some variation.
